SLIP tester

Apparatus for determining the Static (initial) and Dynamic Coefficients Friction of films, sheets and plates, papers covered with plastic and similar surfaces.

Thanks to the precision and repeatability of the results, the device is used to check the quality of films, studies and research on the forces of friction between the same or different surfaces under strictly controlled test conditions.

The SLIP TESTER is equipped with a slide moved by a high precision dynamometric system.

The absolutely uniform and constant translation speed of the slide is 150 ± 30 mm / min. and its total displacement is 300 mm, thus ensuring that the entire length of the specimen, specified in 250 mm, is subjected to the test.

The force necessary to obtain the sliding is measured by a load cell with a capacity of 2000 gr and is read on a luminous digital display.
