Noor Scientific & Trade to Deliver Complete Rösler Preservation Line to Port Said Shipyard
Noor Scientific & Trade LLC announced the commencement of installation for a Complete Preservation Line from Rösler (Germany) at Port Said Shipyard, one of the key facilities operated by the Suez Canal Authority.
This milestone marks a significant step in modernizing Egypt’s shipbuilding and steel processing capabilities. The project encompasses a fully integrated line for blasting, painting, steel surface preparation combined with straightening machine from MG Italy. It is designed to meet the demanding requirements of marine and heavy steel applications.
A combined technical team from Noor Scientific & Trade and Rösler has been on-site in Port Said to oversee the installation and commissioning process. The team has completed the preliminary groundwork, and installation is now in progress. Full operation of the system is expected within the coming few weeks.
This project represents an important collaboration between Egyptian industrial excellence and German engineering innovation enhancing the operational capacity and efficiency of Port Said Shipyard.
Rösler’s Complete Preservation Line offers high-precision surface treatment, combining automated shot blasting, drying, painting, and curing in one continuous process. The system ensures superior corrosion protection and surface quality for steel sheets, profiles, and fabricated components, making it ideal for shipbuilding and heavy fabrication industries.

Dialysis Machine
The first dialysis machine was invented in 1943 by Dutch physician Willem Kolff. His first working device, the rotating drum kidney, was used to successfully treat a 67-year-old patient with acute kidney failure in 1945, proving the concept of dialysis was viable. Examples of the Kolff rotating drum kidney crossed the Atlantic and arrived at the Peter Brent Brigham Hospital in Boston, where they underwent a significant technical improvement. The modified machines became known as the Kolff-Brigham artificial kidney, and between 1954 and 1962 were shipped from Boston to 22 hospitals worldwide.
