Oyigen Index
It automatically determines the minimum quantity of oxygen in a nitrogen mixture inside the Pyrex column that maintains the combustion of a sample of material. It allows the operator to simply set only the percentage of O2, while the flow of N2 is kept constant by the electronic proportional valve system.
Measurement of the percentage of oxygen by means of a paramagnetic transducer (O2 accuracy <0.1%). Standards: ISO 4589-2, ASTM 2863
