Oxygen Index
It determines the minimum quantity of oxygen necessary for the combustion of the specimen at temperatures up to 400 ° C, the heating of oxygen and nitrogen occurs in the jacketed column with resistance, where the sample is positioned. It allows the operator to simply set only the percentage of O2, the flow of N2 is kept constant by the electronic proportional valve system.
Detection of the percentage of oxygen by means of a paramagnetic transducer (O2 accuracy <0.1%).
The adapter is available to use the type A Pyrex glass column (height 450 mm) as an alternative. Standards: ISO 4589-3, ASTM 2863
