The International Conference “Arab Strategies for Reducing the Risks of Climate Change” organized by the Egyptian Arab Corporation for Investment, Innovation and Industrial Development has been launched in Sharm El-Sheikh (2-6 October, 2022).
The conference focuses on the climate change, as one of the most global emergencies and the biggest health threat facing humanity, as many recent studies indicate that climate change is expected to cause huge losses in the coming years.
A group of scholars and experts from Egypt and the Arab countries in various fields: agriculture, industry, health, food, investment, education, media, forensic sciences, environment, trade, tourism, innovation, and experts in artificial intelligence, digital transformation and smart systems are participating in the conference.
It also witnesses a variety of participation from various specialized institutions and bodies from Egypt and the Arab countries as Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Solidarity, Ministry of Tourism, Egyptian Authority for Tourism Promotion, and National Research Center. The Secretary General of the Islamic Research Academy is also participating in a keynote speech in the opening session on behalf of Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar. The conference is presided by Prof. Hussein Darwish, Vice President of the National Research Center.
