Egypt is Africa’s 3rd most attractive investment destination:
Egypt has emerged as one of Africa’s top investment destinations, ranking third in a recent report by Rand Merchant Bank (RMB). This achievement underscores Egypt’s “economic complexity” and vast potential, making it a hotspot for investors seeking lucrative opportunities on the continent.
This impressive position highlights Egypt’s substantial market opportunities, particularly in sectors such as technology, manufacturing, and services. As Africa’s largest economy by GDP in 2023, Egypt offers a robust and dynamic market environment for investors.
Egypt’s strategic location and economic complexity are key factors enhancing its investment appeal. Egypt’s economy is not only the largest in Africa, with a GDP of $394 billion in 2023, but it also boasts a significant GDP per capita of over $15,000, placing it sixth on the continent. The country’s large population of more than 110 million people provides a vast market, attractively positioned relative to European markets.
Scientific Facts
Like fingerprints, everyone’s tongue print is different:
The tongue is unique to every person with respect to its shape and surface textures. It can be easily exposed for inspection and the exposed surface carries the required information. The physiological texture and shape remain constant. Even identical twins have different tongue anatomy to one another. Some studies suggesting that this could make the tongue a useful tool in forensic investigations.
History of Science
Scissors:
The ancient Egyptians used a version of scissors as long ago as 1500 B.C. They were a single piece of metal, typically bronze, fashioned into two blades that were controlled by a metal strip.
The Romans modified the Egyptians’ design in 100 A.D. However, for a reason or another, Leonardo da Vinci has often been credited with inventing scissors.
Although the actual inventor of modern scissors is hard to identify, Robert Hinchliffe, of Sheffield, England, should be rightfully acknowledged as the father of modern scissors. He was the first to use steel to manufacture and mass-produce them in 1761.
