Egypt’s medical city to launch in 2025:

This ambitious project aims to revolutionize healthcare delivery, combining modern infrastructure, advanced medical facilities, and sustainability.

Egypt is on the verge of a significant transformation in its healthcare landscape with the anticipated completion of the Ain Shams University Hospital and Heliopolis Medical City project by the end of 2025. This ambitious project aims to revolutionize healthcare delivery, combining modern infrastructure, advanced medical facilities, and sustainable practices.

The project also aims to develop the self-resources of hospitals. This involves expanding economic treatments and offering medical services for a fee to those who can afford it, which in turn will support the sustainability of free services for less privileged patients. The initiative is aligned with the Prime Minister’s directives to provide free emergency care and involves significant contributions from civil society organizations, institutions, and bank donations.

Scientific Facts

Water can have three existing forms at the same time:

It is also termed the ‘triple point.’ It’s the point at which water, subject to the right temperature and pressure, can exist as a solid (ice), liquid (water) and gas (vapor) at once.
The temperature is 0.01 degree Celsius.
In more technical terms, water at this point is referred to as existing in thermodynamic equilibrium.

Escalators:

The first working model of an escalator was invented by a Massachusetts man called Jesse Reno who got the patent on March 15th, 1892 and the first working prototype was built in 1895.
In 1897, the escalator was redesigned by Charles Seeberger. The first commercially used escalators were produced by Charles Seeberger in 1899 in Yonkers, New York. A year later, in 1900, they were displayed in “Paris Exposition Universelle” in Paris, France. It won the first-place award.
The term “escalator” was coined by Seeberger in 1900.
By the 1920s, the basic mental model of escalators was manufactured, the design of which is not unlike the escalators which are still in use to this day.
