HERZ CAST IRON DOUBLE REGULATING & COMMISSIONING VALVES
Flanged cast iron double regulating and commissioning valve for hydronic balancing in large HVAC networks
The HERZ DZR 2-Way Control Ball Valve (series 2117) fromย HERZ Armaturen is a high-performance, linear-characteristic control valve designed for continuous regulation of hot and cold water, or air, in closed circuit systems. Constructed from dezincification-resistant (DZR) copper alloys, the valve ensures superior corrosion resistance and long-term operational reliability in demanding HVAC and hydronic environments.
Its V-shaped machined ball bore allows for precise flow control and linear response characteristics, while PTFE (Teflon) seats and EPDM O-rings provide tight sealing and low torque operation. The spindle design includes a double O-ring sealing arrangement for maximum durability and leak-free performance.
The valve body and internal components are engineered for smooth actuation, with minimal torque requirements (<8 Nm at nominal voltage), enabling efficient integration with HERZ electric actuators (available in 2/3-point and modulating versions). When manual operation is required, an optional HERZ handle (1 2100 90) can be installed across all sizes DN15โDN50.
