Expanion & Buffer Tanks

Steel expansion tanks with a heavy-duty butyl rubber diaphragm that permanently separates air and water, providing thermal expansion control in closed hydronic heating and cooling systems.

Steel expansion tanks with a removable butyl rubber bladder that permanently separates air and water. Designed for hydronic expansion control and non-potable hydropneumatics applications.

Steel expansion tanks with a replaceable, full-acceptance butyl rubber bladder that separates system water from the air charge and accommodates thermal expansion in hydronic heating and cooling systems.

Carbon steel buffer tanks for chilled and hot water hydronic systems, designed to increase system fluid volume and help reduce boiler or chiller short cycling. Available in vertical and horizontal configurations, with nominal capacities from 50 to 3,000 US gallons.
