ABRASION TESTER
Description
The equipment is designed to determine the abrasion resistance of a 16 mm. Ø and 6 mm. thick specimen, by controlling its change of volume, after contacting an abrading surface along 40 meters and with a 10 N pressure.
Calibration of the system is provided by means of rubber standard specimens. (not included)
Main specifications:
- Metal frame painted in epoxy.
- Equipped with a rolling support for abrading paper, 150 mm. Ø, at a 40 r.p.m. speed.
- Specimen holder mechanism based on an automatic system for lateral travel, equipped with support for additional weight.
- Micrometric adjusting of calibration.
- Total travel of the specimen: 40 meters
- Counterweight to the reduction from 10 N to 5 N on audition.
