DENSITY GRADIENT
Description
It allows the determination of the density of solid materials at a temperature of 23°C .
In a measuring range between 0.84 and 2.6 g / cm³ based on the use of spheres with a known density.
Small glass spheres (marker float) of known density are lowered into the column and stop when their density coincides with the density of the solution in which they are immersed. To determine the density of a sample it is necessary to immerse it in the same column and wait until it has stopped, having reached the equilibrium between its density and that of the solution.
